Location: Somerset Job Type: Part-Time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Join Our Client's Dedicated Out-of-Hours Team Our client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their established out-of-hours emergency service. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who enjoys emergency and critical care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values working as part of a supportive and experienced team.

Based within a well-equipped veterinary hospital in Somerset, the practice provides a dedicated out-of-hours service for local veterinary practices across the region, delivering high-quality emergency care to a varied small animal caseload, including occasional exotic and wildlife patients. The Role As the Twilight RVN, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the evening emergency service.

Your responsibilities will include: - Managing incoming emergency telephone calls. - Booking appointments and triaging patients on arrival.

- Supporting the veterinary surgeon and night RVN throughout the shift. - Assisting with inpatient care and preparing for emergency procedures as required.

- Helping to deliver exceptional patient and client care during out-of-hours periods. You'll work alongside an experienced night veterinary surgeon and dedicated night RVN in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Working Hours This is a part-time position working alternate weekends: - Friday: 7:00pm – 11:30pm - Saturday: 4:00pm – 11:30pm - Sunday: 4:00pm – 11:30pm Average 9. 75 hours per week.
