Head Registered Veterinary Nurse An established small animal practice in South East London is seeking an experienced and motivated Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead its nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident RVN who enjoys combining hands-on clinical nursing with leadership responsibilities, while helping to shape the continued success and development of a busy, modern practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, supporting and mentoring colleagues, and fostering a positive team culture. Working closely with the veterinary team, they will oversee the day-to-day running of the nursing department while continuing to provide outstanding patient care and exceptional client service. The practice is a well-established three-vet clinic with modern facilities, The role is based on a four-day working week with 9.5-hour shifts, together with participation in a one-in-six weekend rota. A competitive salary is offered, dependent on experience, alongside excellent opportunities for career progression and continued professional development. The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive package that includes five weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, a Health Cash Plan, 24/7 wellbeing support, life assurance, and a £750 annual CPD allowance with two days of paid CPD leave. Funded certificates are available for those wishing to further their qualifications, while professional fees for the RCVS, VDS and BVA are fully covered.
